I’m the typical yo-yo dieter. I get on an insane diet, trim down, and as soon as I hit a “goal weight” I quit and go back to whatever I was doing before that.
I enjoy food and had a trainer who had me eating solely ground turkey, rice, salad, and oatmeal…the basics! I lasted about a month before I started going insane.
I remembered about Jon through a friend that had gotten into bodybuilding and had seen amazing results. Now let me make this clear: I did not want to compete…like ever, but I wanted insane results. I wanted to eat what I wanted in moderation. Jon put me on a program and I was able to eat more than I was before. Not only that I was able to enjoy a greater variety of foods.
I am 5’2 and started at 132 pounds with Jon. Now this doesn’t sound like much, but I wanted to tone up.
Jon is the most consistent trainer I know. What I mean by that is he would always ask, “how much do you want to lose?” I would answer 5 lbs. I would drop the lbs and then he would ask, “how much do you want to lose?” I would answer 10 more and I’ll be happy. Eventually, I dropped those 10 pounds and then my answer would shift to I really don’t know how much I want to lose, but I wanted to look the best I ever had and be teeny-tiny.
Jon, throughout the process was amazing. I mean if I was out at a restaurant with friends and I needed to know the best menu options, I knew I could text Jon and he would help me decide what’s best. If I wanted to drink, he would be my bartender telling me what to drink to stay within my program. My goal was to look amazing for my birthday and be “bikini-ready”. I lost 21 pounds by my birthday and weighed 111. I was so happy with how healthy and strong I looked! I couldn’t have done it without Jon guiding me through the process the entire time.
